MOLECULAR AND NEURONAL PHYSIOLOGY OF ION CHANNEL COMPLEXES
Our research focuses on ion channels, particularly voltage-gated Ca2+ (Cav) channels, and their roles in the nervous system. We dissect the structure/function relationships of ion channels and use electrophysiology, optical imaging, behavioral assays to define the contributions of these channels to the function, development, and repair of sensory neural circuits.
